[CE2013-3] Escrypt (DE) - Security Hardware and Design-for-Testability Development for Automotive Applications

PRESERVE is a European research project which involves several partners from the academic and industrial sectors. The aim of the project is to design and prototype implementation of a secure and scalable subsystem in hardware for use in the Vehicle-Vehicle and Vehicle-Infrastructure communication.

Escrypt is a partner in the project that will be investigating the security and testability issues in hardware developed for these automotive communication applications. Your task will be to analyze the hardware components developed by Escrypt and develop a desgin-for-testability solution that does not reduce the security level of the system.

You will work with a in a young, highly qualified, internationally experienced team. This is complemented by a positive and open working environment, exciting challenges, varied work, flat hierarchies and a performance related pay.

What do we expect from you?

    • Electrical/computer/microelectronics engineering backgroungound
    • Interest in IT security and the design and development of secure hardware
    • Good knowledge in hardware design and programming in VHDL and C, and experience with Linux
    • Candidates must be fluent in English (writing and speaking)
